Offensive Messages

When I received this MMS on Friday, it had me a touch concerned. No, really, I did have a little panic.
For about, ermmm... 2 minutes.

Then, it made me laugh. A LOT.

Do I agree with what the school did? Do I agree with what the teacher did? Do I think it's ridiculous?
Should I comment?
Maybe not. It might be printed out and hung on the school fence by tomorrow...

If they ever read what I have written, I may bit in a tiny bit of trouble. But if you are stupid enough to write these things on facebook, with your profile picture and name next to your 'status' what do you expect?

I'm not entirely sure who 'they' actually are. Are people employed to find inappropriate things on the internet that have been written by teachers? I have a feeling that this would not be too difficult.

I will leave you to guess what my thoughts are on all this bollocks and an inappropriate gym teacher.

  1. Hmm that gym teacher is not very appropriate. These kind of teacher actually deserve to be fucked over. Child Molesters. And well, never post anything bad on a profile you know your "enemy"(parents/children) are reading, should be obvious.

  2. I think it's kind of ridiculous to punish teachers for what they say on the internet, so long as what they're saying isn't said in distance of the children they teach or I suppose their parents too. Teachers are just people, (you probably understand that pretty well being a teacher yourself) and they're not the angels parents would like to believe.

  4. I am a firm believer that anything that goes on the internet is fair game unless it hurts anyone. I don't think that comment could possibly hurt somebody in particular, although many many would fit that.
Aaaanyway, that gym teacher is really inappropiate. Not as inappropiate as eating bacon on a saturday, but certainly more inappropiate than killing a hooker...ohh wait, i shouldn't have said that.

  6. I guess it all depends on what you think is inappropriate or offensive. I wouldn't know.

  7. P.S.
It appears to me that gym teacher is teaching absolutely perfect form - inappropriate or dedicated?

  8. I don't see what the big problem is since it didn't mention specific names and wasn't profane. Have we forgotten that teachers are still people, and still entitled to their own opinion of things?

  11. I know someone who got fired from his job because he had a convo on fb slagging off the boss.

However, his failure to remember that his boss was on his friends list and able to see it didn't say much for his intelligence.

  12. Why do people insist we all walk on egg shells? I don't see what the fuss is all about. But let me ask you this: do your colleagues know about your blog?

  13. I guess we all hope we have not sent an offensive message that was intended to be a joke. But, I am sure I have, I probably thought I enjoyed it, and I will probably do it again.

  14. I'm guessing it's no worse than what I've heard teachers say in the teachers lounge. Nor would it be any worse than what some of those parents have said when around guests.

It took me a moment to work out what the gym teacher was doing ... that was more worrying.

  15. P.S. That's one dirty gym teacher, I tell you! (or would that be dirty yoga?) Shit, I don't believe these women didn't smack him big time.

Don't tell me you're in jail for having beaten up a couple of little bastards trying to take over your classroom.

  17. Are we really doing this? Printing out facebook comments and putting them on fences?

A teacher can't be on facebook and make a sarcastic statement. He didn't say "MY students are inbred"
